A man by the name of Lin accompanied his girlfriend to the ER at the Jinshan Branch of the National Taiwan University Hospital back in June. But when he saw that the medical staff at the facility was too slow, he went on a rampage with a butcher knife and an axe in each hand.

Lin was subdued by the police office after wielding the weapons at bystanders. And now he is being indicted for menacing, violating the medical law, etc.

According to the indictment, Lin drove his girlfriend to the ER even though he had to much to drink. While the hospital staff was taking the girlfriend's blood pressure and temperature, Lin kept cussing and rushing the staff members to speed up the process. After a while, he got lost in the heat of the moment and started to swing at people with the knives and axe from his car.

The hospital immediately called the police; and when the police arrived, they found Lin topless sitting on the curb in front of the ER, and the knives and axe were simply scattered across the floor as if they had nothing to do with him in the first place.

Lin was brought in for questioning and he had no problem admitting to the fact that he had just waved knives and an axe at a hospital. The police perceive Lin to be a danger to society and, therefore, is charging him with multiple offences.
